Volunteers at Pearrygin Lake State Park plant trees with shovels
Extra hands are always needed at once-a-year maintenance events. We invite individuals and groups to explore the following options.

Community Partnership Month
Community Partnership Month is held throughout the state during April to celebrate Earth Day. Many parks hold volunteer events to improve parks and prepare for the summer months. Projects include tree planting, clean-up projects, landscaping, trail maintenance, and nature walks.

Operation Shore Patrol
Operation Shore Patrol is an annual beach cleanup that occurs the third weekend in September. All coastal state parks participate in this event in conjunction with the International Coastal Cleanup.
