Cama Beach State Park

Cama Beach Cabins
Cama Beach State Park is on the southwest shore of Camano Island facing Saratoga Passage in north Puget Sound. Cama Beach offers visitors a chance to step back in time to a 1930s-era Puget Sound fishing resort complete with waterfront cedar cabins and bungalows. These have been refurbished with modern conveniences, and are available for rent year-round to individuals and groups.

Cama Beach features standard and deluxe cabins situated near the beach with spectacular views of Saratoga Passage, Whidbey Island, and the Olympic Mountains. Pets are allowed in cabins number 12, 13, 23, and 24 with a $15 (plus tax) pet fee per night.
Standard Cabins
There are 24 standard cabins. Each is 14-by-20-feet in size with a living room, kitchen area, and bedroom. Waterfront cabins have two double beds. Second-row cabins have a double bed and two sets of bunk beds (twin size) which can accommodate five to six people. Standard cabin amenities are electric heat and lights, refrigerator, microwave, and sink. Restrooms and showers are nearby. Linen service is not available. Guests should take along their own bedding, pillows, towels, cookware, dishes, and utensils.
Standard Beachfront Cabins
Cabins 1-13 can accommodate up to four guests per cabin. Pets are allowed in cabins 12 and 13 with a $15 (plus tax) pet fee per night.

Standard Second Row Cabins
Cabins 14-24 can accommodate up to six guests per cabin. Pets are allowed in cabins 23 and 24 with a $15 (plus tax) pet fee per night.

Deluxe Cabins
There are seven deluxe cabins. Each is 14-by-28-feet in size with a living room, kitchen area, bedroom, and small bathroom with shower, toilet, and sink. Deluxe cabins have one double bed and two twin-size beds which can accommodate four people. Cabin 33 is ADA accessible, has a double single bunk bed which can accommodate 3 people. Cabin amenities are electric heat and lights, refrigerator, microwave, and sink. The cabins are set above the beach, with a view of the water. Linen service is not available. Guests need to take along their own bedding, pillows, towels, cookware, dishes, and utensils.

Prices for cabins, rustic shelters, or yurts may change in 2014, depending on the time of year and day of the week. There are bargains available, particularly for those who stay on weekdays in the spring and fall or anytime in the winter. For specific cabin and yurt prices in 2014, visit the reservation website.

Rental Notice
  • Bed linens are not provided in cabins, platform tents, teepees, or yurts. Campers must bring their own linen and blankets.
  • Cooking is not allowed in platform tents, teepees, or yurts. Cooking is allowed only in cabins with kitchenettes.
  • Pets are only permitted in designated cabins / yurts.
  • Smoking is not allowed in cabins, platform tents, teepees, or yurts.
  • Washington State Parks pass discounts do not apply to cabins, platform tents, teepees, vacation houses, yurts, or other roofed overnight accommodations.
