Twanoh State Park

Location
Twahoh State Park is a 182 acre marine camping park located on the east shore of Hood Canal in Mason County approximately 11 miles southwest of the town of Belfair on State Hwy 106. The park has 3,167 feet of saltwater shoreline and is a popular shellfish harvest area. A shellfish license is required.

Pumpout Facility Information
Located at Twanoh State Park, this pumpout is open April 1 through October 15th,  24 hours a day. The EMP SaniSailor stationary pumpout is located at the outboard end of the moorage float. It is a self-serve pumpout accessible from either end of the float.

Marine Services
There is a two lane boat launch available in the park for a fee. An automated pay station is available for purchase of either the daily boat launch, one day or annual Discover Pass.
Daily Launch - $7
Annual Natural Investment Pass (boat launch) - $80
Discover Pass (vehicle access) - $30

Overnight moorage is available for a fee:
Jan. 1, 2015 moorage fee change: 
  • The daily fee will be 70 cents per foot, with a minimum of $12
  • Moorage buoys will be $15 a night
  • Annual moorage permit will be $5 per foot, with a minimum of $60
The guest dock is 100 feet in length. The total estimated guest capacity is up to 10 boats depending on length. . There is no electrical available on the dock. Potable water is available on the uplands near the restroom.The minimum depth at mean low tide is approximately 3 feet.

Fuel is not available at the park. A boat haul-out and marine repair services are available in near by.

Day-Use & Campground Accommodations
There are campsites available for overnight stays. Camp fires are allowed. The standard campsites are in a wooded setting, and some sites are next to highway. Showers using tokens are available. The token machine is located at the park office and accessible from the outside of the building.


There are two picnic shelters available one of which can be reserved. There are 125 uncovered picnic tables available, many with barbeque pits. The facility has a pay telephone available at the park office.
