Kopachuck Master Plan

Kopachuck State Park is undergoing a public master planning process. The park’s campground was closed because of a disease affecting many of the parks’ mature trees, so the park is currently operated for day-use only. In 2010, the Parks and Recreation Commission approved a long-term plan for the park, but with the campground closure, it is now out of date. The Commission intends to develop a new master plan based on the land classifications adopted as part of the 2010 planning process, updating the park plan to be in alignment with the park’s current status as a day-use
operation. The public can view the previous planning information online, at  http://www.parks.wa.gov/300/Kopachuck-Jarrell-Cove
