[DRAFT] Section of trail closed

A section of the Twin Falls Trail in Olallie State Park has been closed due to a landslide that has damaged the trail and is creating a hazardous condition. The trail is closed 0.75 miles from the Twin Falls Trailhead and will remain closed until the trail is repaired. There is no waterfalls access from the Twin Falls Trailhead.

Hikers that wish to view Twin Falls should access the Twin Falls Trail from Olallie State Park's Homestead Valley Trailhead located off of I-90 Exit 38.

To access the Twin Falls Trail from the Homestead Valley Trailhead, follow the access trail from the parking lot to the John Wayne Pioneer Trail. Follow the JWPT west for 0.5 miles to the junction with the Twin Falls Trail. The bridge spanning the canyon between the falls in 0.75 miles from the junction and the lower falls viewpoint is 1 mile from the junction.
