Limited Access to Twin Falls Trail.

The Twin Falls Trailhead located off of I-90 Exit 34 provides limited access to the Twin Falls Trail. The Twin Falls Trail is currently CLOSED from about the ¾ mile mark & viewpoint to the Twin Falls Canyon Bridge. A landslide has severely damaged a steeply sloped section of the trail. This section of the trail will remain closed until repairs can be made. Due to the steepness of the slope and a lack of funding, repairs will take a considerable amount of time.

Hikers that wish to visit Twin Falls may access the east end of the Twin Falls Trail from the Homestead Valley Trailhead located off of I-90 Exit 38 (50501 SE Homestead Valley Rd, North Bend, WA 98045).

To access the Twin Falls Trail from the Homestead Valley Trailhead, follow the access trail from the parking lot to the John Wayne Pioneer Trail. Follow the JWPT west for 0.5 miles to the junction with the Twin Falls Trail. The bridge spanning the canyon between the falls in 0.75 miles from the junction and the lower falls viewpoint is 1 mile from the junction.
