Clean Vessel Program and Pumpout Locations
The federal Clean Vessel Act provides funds to help reduce pollution from vessel sewage
discharges into U.S. waters. These funds come from taxes on the sales of fishing equipment
and on recreational boating fuel. Washington State Parks makes grants to both public and
private sector boating facility operators for the construction, renovation, operation and
maintenance of pumpout and dump stations for use by recreational boaters. The program also
provides boater education to promote public awareness about boat sewage and its proper
disposal.
In 2011, Washington boaters prevented 4,093,514 gallons of sewage from
contaminating Washington's waters by using Clean Vessel Act pumpout facilities.
A clean marine environment is very important for everyone to enjoy the beautiful bodies
of water throughout Washington. Boaters can help keep Washington's waterways clean. Washington
offers more than 150 disposal facilities with a variety of stationary and portable pumpouts
that provide a convenient way to properly dispose of boat sewage. For additional convenience,
on-the-water restrooms and pumpout skiffs that can service boats right in their slips also
are available.

Manson Park Dist - Manson Bay Marina is a public marina with an accessible pumpout. This facility is open April thru October. The hours of operations are 9am to 5pm. There is a floating dock available year around. A slip is available for pumpout usage. Access to this pumpout is limited to vessels with a length of no more than 60 feet. There is a stationary pumpout. The stationary pumpout is located at the breakwater. There is a portable pumpout. The Porta Potty is also located at the breakwater.
Marine Services
Over night moorage is available for a fee. The guest dock is 50 feet in length. There are 32 guest moorage slips available. The total estimated guest boat capacity is 32. Electrical hook up is available. Electrical power is available.
Day Use/Campground Accommodations
This facility offers over night amenities. Showers are available for a fee.
