Clean Vessel Program and Pumpout Locations

The federal Clean Vessel Act provides funds to help reduce pollution from vessel sewage discharges into U.S. waters. These funds come from taxes on the sales of fishing equipment and on recreational boating fuel. Washington State Parks makes grants to both public and private sector boating facility operators for the construction, renovation, operation and maintenance of pumpout and dump stations for use by recreational boaters. The program also provides boater education to promote public awareness about boat sewage and its proper disposal.

In 2011, Washington boaters prevented 4,093,514 gallons of sewage from contaminating Washington's waters by using Clean Vessel Act pumpout facilities.

A clean marine environment is very important for everyone to enjoy the beautiful bodies of water throughout Washington. Boaters can help keep Washington's waterways clean. Washington offers more than 150 disposal facilities with a variety of stationary and portable pumpouts that provide a convenient way to properly dispose of boat sewage. For additional convenience, on-the-water restrooms and pumpout skiffs that can service boats right in their slips also are available.

 Pumpout Facility Information
Open April through October.  The hours of operation are daylight to dusk.  You will encounter a dump station only, adjacent to flush restroom pumpout at this facility.  This facility has a Porta-Potty dump station.  The Porta Potty Dump station is located at the boat launch  

 Marine Services
There is a boat launch available for a fee.  The guest dock is 632 feet in length.  

 Day Use/Campground Accommodations
This facility offers over night amenities.  There are campsites available for over night stays for a fee.  Campsite fires are allowed.  There are primitive and standard sites available.  Showers are available for a fee.  This facility also offers day use amenities.  A picnic shelter is available.  There are picnic tables available.  Barbeque pits are also present.  The facility has a pay telephone available.
