Clean Vessel Program and Pumpout Locations
The federal Clean Vessel Act provides funds to help reduce pollution from vessel sewage
discharges into U.S. waters. These funds come from taxes on the sales of fishing equipment
and on recreational boating fuel. Washington State Parks makes grants to both public and
private sector boating facility operators for the construction, renovation, operation and
maintenance of pumpout and dump stations for use by recreational boaters. The program also
provides boater education to promote public awareness about boat sewage and its proper
disposal.
In 2011, Washington boaters prevented 4,093,514 gallons of sewage from
contaminating Washington's waters by using Clean Vessel Act pumpout facilities.
A clean marine environment is very important for everyone to enjoy the beautiful bodies
of water throughout Washington. Boaters can help keep Washington's waterways clean. Washington
offers more than 150 disposal facilities with a variety of stationary and portable pumpouts
that provide a convenient way to properly dispose of boat sewage. For additional convenience,
on-the-water restrooms and pumpout skiffs that can service boats right in their slips also
are available.

Driving Directions: From SR 16 @ Pardy: Follow SR 302 (Key Peninsula Hwy.) South through towns of Key Center and Home. Turn left at Cornwall Rd. KPS continue about 1 1/4 miles, turn left onto 158th Ave. KPS. Follow this street into the park.

Penrose Point State Park is a public marina with an accessible pumpout. The facility is open in the Summer excpet for extreme low tides, 24 hours a day. This facility has a floating dock available year around. You will encounter a EMP "Sani-Sailor" pumpout at this facility. A slip is available for pumpout usage. Access to this pumpout is limited to vessels with a length of no more than 30 feet. There is a stationary pumpout. The stationary pumput is located on the dock. This facility has a Porta-Potty dump station. The porta potty dumpstation is located on the dock, next to the pumpout.
Marine Services
Over night moorage is available for a fee. The guest dock is 135 feet in length. There are 1 guest moorage slips available. The total estimated guest boat capacity is 12. There are 8 moorage buoys available. It has been reported the minimum depth at mean low tide is 3 feet.
Day Use/Campground Accommodations
This facility offers over night amenities. There are campsites available for over night stays for a fee. Campsite fires are allowed. Showers are available for a fee. This facility also offers day use amenities. A picnic shelter is available. There are picnic tables available. Barbeque pits are also present.
