Clean Vessel Program and Pumpout Locations

The federal Clean Vessel Act provides funds to help reduce pollution from vessel sewage discharges into U.S. waters. These funds come from taxes on the sales of fishing equipment and on recreational boating fuel. Washington State Parks makes grants to both public and private sector boating facility operators for the construction, renovation, operation and maintenance of pumpout and dump stations for use by recreational boaters. The program also provides boater education to promote public awareness about boat sewage and its proper disposal.

In 2011, Washington boaters prevented 4,093,514 gallons of sewage from contaminating Washington's waters by using Clean Vessel Act pumpout facilities.

A clean marine environment is very important for everyone to enjoy the beautiful bodies of water throughout Washington. Boaters can help keep Washington's waterways clean. Washington offers more than 150 disposal facilities with a variety of stationary and portable pumpouts that provide a convenient way to properly dispose of boat sewage. For additional convenience, on-the-water restrooms and pumpout skiffs that can service boats right in their slips also are available.

 Pumpout Facility Information
Port of Everett Marina is a full service marina with a public accessible pumpout.  This facility is open year around,  24 hours a day (self-serve).  Docks are in the year around.  You will encounter a EMP "SaniSailor" pumpout at this facility.  Access to this pumpout is limited to vessels with a length of no more than 143 feet.  There are 5 stationary pumpouts.  There are stationary pumpouts located on the main marina fuel dock, handicapped dock, dock at the public boat launch and A & J docks and at the 12th Street yacht basin.  There are 2 Porta-Potty Dumpstations.  The Porta Potty dumpstations are located in the main marina by the north and south restrooms.  

 Marine Services
Gasoline and diesel fuel can be purchased on site.  There is a boat launch available for a fee.  The facility offers a boat haul out and marine repair services are available on the premises.  Over night moorage is available for a fee.  The guest dock is 6000 feet in length.  There are 1969 guest moorage slips available.  The total estimated guest boat capacity is 2000.  Electrical hook up is available for a fee.  Electrical power is available in 30 and 50 amps.  It has been reported the minimum depth at mean low tide is 11 feet.  

 Day Use/Campground Accommodations
This facility offers over night amenities.  Showers are available for a fee.  This facility also offers day use amenities.  There are picnic tables available.  The facility has a pay telephone available.
