Clean Vessel Program and Pumpout Locations

The federal Clean Vessel Act provides funds to help reduce pollution from vessel sewage discharges into U.S. waters. These funds come from taxes on the sales of fishing equipment and on recreational boating fuel. Washington State Parks makes grants to both public and private sector boating facility operators for the construction, renovation, operation and maintenance of pumpout and dump stations for use by recreational boaters. The program also provides boater education to promote public awareness about boat sewage and its proper disposal.

In 2011, Washington boaters prevented 4,093,514 gallons of sewage from contaminating Washington's waters by using Clean Vessel Act pumpout facilities.

A clean marine environment is very important for everyone to enjoy the beautiful bodies of water throughout Washington. Boaters can help keep Washington's waterways clean. Washington offers more than 150 disposal facilities with a variety of stationary and portable pumpouts that provide a convenient way to properly dispose of boat sewage. For additional convenience, on-the-water restrooms and pumpout skiffs that can service boats right in their slips also are available.

    North I-5, exit Fife B (54th Street). Go 3 miles. Right on 509, take right onto Marine View. Marina is 4 miles further at 5410 Crowes Nest.

 Pumpout Facility Information
Crow's Nest Marina is a private marina with a public accessible pumpout.  This facility is open year around,  24/7  Floating dock removed in winter according to weather  You will encounter a Keco "Pump-A-Head" pumpout at this facility.  A slip is available for pumpout usage.  Access to this pumpout is limited to vessels with a length of no more than 50 feet.  There is a stationary pumpout.  End of main dock  There is a portable pumpout.  approximately 75 feet from the end of the main dock  This facility has a Porta-Potty dump station.  Next to stationary pump-out at end of dock  

 Marine Services
Over night moorage is available for a fee.  There are 146 guest moorage slips available.  The total estimated guest boat capacity is 146.  Electrical hook up is available for a fee.  Electrical power is available in 30 and 50 amps.  It has been reported the minimum depth at mean low tide is 20 feet.  

 Day Use/Campground Accommodations
This facility offers over night amenities.  Showers are available for a fee.
