Enjoy a festival, join a fun run, tour an interpretive site, or just make your own celebration with a family picnic or camping trip. Choose from dozens of activities and events throughout the year. You can submit your state park event via email to get it placed on the calendar. The Discover Pass is required for vehicle access to Washington state parks and state-managed recreation lands.   2. Forest Nature Walks

    September 12, 10:00 AM - September 13, 1:00 PM @ Bridle Trails State Park

    September 12th - Learn about the natural history, plants, and animals of this exceptional forested natural area, how biological diversity in forests develops over time, and how we are dealing with the threat of invasive plants to urban forests.   3. Lake Washington Saddle Club - Dressage Events

    September 13, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

    Join us for a relaxed schooling show, judged by top-level local certified dressage judges. All test levels are welcome in any USEF/USDF approved dressage test including Eventing, Musical Freestyle, Gaited, Para-Equestrian and Western Dressage

State Park Free Days

  1. State Parks Free Day

    September 26, All Day @ All Washington state parks.

    In honor of National Public Lands Day, today is a State Parks “free day” and the Discover Pass is not required to visit a state park. Please note, free days apply only to day use (not overnight stays or rented facilities).

    A Discover Pass is still required to access lands managed by the Washington state departments of Natural Resources and Fish & Wildlife.
