Enjoy a festival, join a fun run, tour an interpretive site, or just make your own celebration with a family picnic or camping trip. Choose from dozens of activities and events throughout the year. You can submit your state park event via email to get it placed on the calendar. The Discover Pass is required for vehicle access to Washington state parks and state-managed recreation lands.     July 4, 6:00 PM - 11:00 PM @ Saltwater State Park

    View the fireworks from Saltwater State Park: While no fireworks are allowed in the park, Saltwater State Park is a great place to go for safe viewing of fireworks – and Saltwater staff are keeping the park open late on the Fourth of July – until 11 p.m. -- so that visitors can enjoy the firework show from neighboring areas. Bring along your Discover Pass for vehicle access to the park. Then find a good viewing spot and enjoy the show. From Saltwater, fireworks from Des Moines Marina, Vashon and Maury Islands and even glimpses of Tacoma and Seattle fireworks can be seen

    July 18, 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM @ Saltwater State Park

    Featuring music, dance, food and display booths. Performances by Cambodian Classical and Folk Dance Northwest, Kinnaly Lao Traditional Music & Dance Troupe, Bong Lang Ruam Jai Band from Thailand, River Ridge Taiko Ensemble from Japan, India South Sound Association
