Events at Washington State Parks

Washington State Parks provides recreational and interpretive events throughout the year in parks across the state. The Folk and Traditional Arts in the Parks Program, offered in cooperation with the Washington State Arts Commission, highlights Washington's rich cultural heritage, while living-history presentations commemorate important historic events such as the Lewis & Clark Bicentennial. Events are free unless otherwise noted.

Interpretive events: Washington state parks are filled with historic and cultural places, along with some of the most beautiful natural areas in the Northwest. Many state parks offer interpretive events including campfire programs, marine science exhibits, museums, living-history presentations and more.
