Park Aide
3 to 5 Month Temporary Positions Available
Salary: $9.09 - $11.65 per hour
Primary Duties: Assist park staff by
performing a variety of tasks at a State park, beach, or historical area. Tasks include
picking up litter, cleaning restrooms, registering campers and collecting fees, mowing
lawns, raking leaves, general grounds and facility maintenance, explaining park rules,
transporting supplies and equipment, painting, and trail maintenance.
Minimum Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or
older and possess a valid Washington State driver's license.
Duration: Positions are usually available
starting in April, May and June. Positions usually terminate immediately after Labor Day.
Location: There are 375+ positions
available statewide. The number of vacancies will vary from park to park.
Housing: Housing is generally not
available. Employees are responsible for providing their own housing and transportation.
