Washington Conservation Corps
The Washington Conservation Corps (WCC) is a jobs/training program for young adults
18 to 25 years of age. Most WCC enrollees do project work in state parks (e.g.,
building, maintenance, etc.), although there are some clerical positions as well.
Members enroll for six-month terms, which can be extended up to two years.
WCC enrollees earn minimum wage; WCC specialists earn 30% above minimum wage.
These workers are not considered state employees and receive no additional benefits.
