Winter Recreation Sports Funding Program

The Winter Recreation Program is now accepting applications for the 2013-2014 season.

The application deadline is June 1 postmark.

The Winter Recreation Sports Funding Program provides funds for services in the Washington state Sno-Park system. Funds can be used for winter recreational purposes, including the acquisition, development, operation, planning and maintenance of facilities and programs.

All projects become part of the Winter Recreation Program and must adhere to its rules, regulations and policies.

Eligible funding recipients

  • Any public agency
  • Any private group or individual

Eligible projects
2013-2014 ongoing projects and new applications will be considered for funding. These include trail grooming services, safety education and enforcement projects in the Washington state Sno-Park system.






The Recreation and Conservation Office

The RCO administers grants from the Recreational Trails Program (RTP). Applicants are encouraged to seek additional funding from this program.

Please print the instructions and application for the category being applied for. Applicants may apply for more than one category of funds. Applications are for motorized and non-motorized recreation.
