Crystal Springs Sno-Park Planning

Caterpillar grooming snow at Crystal Springs

The Washington State Department of Transportation is using the Crystal Springs Sno-Park as a stockpile location during their work on their I-90 Snoqualmie Pass East project. In exchange for using Crystal Springs for several years, WSDOT has agreed to make some grading improvements to the Sno-Park when they leave.

State Parks and WSDOT worked together in 2010 to develop a plan for the Sno-Park that meets the needs of park users, while also meeting requirements for snow storage and stormwater treatment.
