Cape Disappointment

Cape Disappointment State Park is located at the base of the popular Long Beach Peninsula, where the Columbia River meets the Pacific Ocean. The park features three unique Lighthouse Keepers' Residences within walking distance of North Head Lighthouse. Visitors can tour the park's historical coastal fort and the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center, and enjoy sandy beaches and nearby activities along the peninsula.

Lighthouse Keepers' Dining Room
The Head Lighthouse Keepers' Residence offers visitors a breathtaking view of the ocean. Hardwood floors extend from the living room into the lovely grand dining room and library. The century-old two-story Victorian-period house features a comfortable living room with TV and DVD, a spacious tiled kitchen with modern appliances, and three bedrooms with two queen-size and two single beds.

Lighthouse Keepers' Kitchen

Three unique century-old two-story Victorian-period homes offer visitors a breathtaking view of the ocean.
Park Location: near Ilwaco.
Capacity: six guests per residence.
Features (per residence): three bedrooms; one bath; kitchen with stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, dining and cooking utensils; attractive dining room; cozy, period-furnished living room with TV; linens.
Not Provided: cable TV.

May 16 – Oct. 31:$377 nightly (plus tax)
Nov. 1 – May 15:$188 (plus tax) Mondays – Thursdays
$283 (plus tax) Fridays – Sundays
Holiday weekends, Dec. 19 – Jan. 4 and March 22 – April 5: $377 (plus tax)


Assistant Lighthouse Keepers' Residences
2008 Rates:
May 16 – Oct. 31:$267 nightly (plus tax)
Nov. 1 – May 15:$133 (plus tax) Mondays – Thursdays
$200 (plus tax) Fridays – Sundays
Holiday weekends, Dec. 19 – Jan. 4 and March 22 – April 5: $261 (plus tax)

  • Call (888) CAMPOUT or (888) 226-7688), or
    Washington Telecommunications Relay Service at (800) 833-6388.
  • Reservable up to nine months in advance.
  • Two-night minimum stay required (three nights during holidays).
  • There is a $7 non-refundable fee for handling each reservation.
  • If a reservation is changed or cancelled, fees may change as well.


Notes:
  • Residences rent separately or together.
  • Smoking and pets are not allowed in vacation houses.
