Pearrygin Lake State Park

Pearrygin Lake State Park in the Methow Valley features green lawns along 11,000 feet of shoreline on Pearrygin Lake. The park is a popular destination for recreationists who enjoy hiking, swimming, fishing and boating. Those who simply want to relax on a hot summer day can enjoy the shade of the mature weeping willows that grow in the park. Campers often get visits from local wildlife, including marmots and mule deer who wander through the campground. Visitors who like tourist activities can venture to nearby Winthrop, a charming western-themed town.

Pearrygin Lake’s vacation house lies on the shores of scenic Pearrygin Lake, three miles from Winthrop in north Central Washington’s Methow Valley. This overnight rental has all the comforts of home, with a beautiful view of the lake and majestic Gardner Mountain in the region’s North Cascade Mountains.

The cottage is very close to the swim beach, boat launch, picnic area and camp store. It is a short walk to the campground for family or friends who are camping or staying in an RV. The cottage is accessible to those with disabilities.

The building originally was constructed and located in Twisp as the first office for the Lloyd Logging Corporation. It was moved in the 1970s to its current location at Derry's Resort and served as housing for resort staff. Derry's Resort was purchased in late 2004 by Washington State Parks. The cottage was renovated during the winter of 2005-06, opening for business in time for the 2006 Memorial Day weekend.
