Riverside State Park is a 10,000-acre camping
park along the Spokane and Little Spokane rivers in Eastern Washington. The park supports
a wide variety of recreational activities and is rich in history. Freshwater marshes,
running rivers and beautiful countryside make up the terrain. The park also includes the
Nine Mile Recreation Area, which is available for camping, picnicking, swimming, fishing
and boating.
Vacation House
The Retired Ranger House is nestled in the woods of Riverside State
Park and sits a short distance from the Spokane River. Within walking distance of the
swinging bridge, hiking trails and a picnic area, the house features vaulted ceilings
and an open 1,200-square-foot floor plan. Perfect for a summer retreat or a cozy winter
getaway, the Retired Ranger House includes an indoor fireplace, an outdoor fire ring and
fenced backyard where firewood is provided. The three bedroom vacation house features a
fully equipped kitchen and dining room with seating for eight accommodates up to 10 guests.
