Community Partnership Month

Cleaning a trail at Paradise Point

Gardening at Saltwater

April 23, 2011

The Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission invites volunteers to celebrate the spirit of Earth Day in April by participating in Community Partnership Month activities.

April is a great month to help prepare state parks for the summer season. This is a perfect opportunity for individuals, groups and families to roll up their sleeves and help their state parks.

A list of parks holding Community Partnership Month activities is posted below.

If you do not see an event you can participate in, please contact your local state park to ask if there are any volunteer events in your area.
