Community Partnership Month

April 2008

The Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission invites volunteer groups to celebrate the spirit of Earth Day in April by participating in Community Partnership Month activities.

April is Community Partnership Month and a time when enthusiastic volunteers can roll up their sleeves and help their state parks. This also is a perfect opportunity for groups participating in National Youth Service Day (April 20-22) to take advantage of service opportunities available in Washington state parks. Earth Day is April 22.

A list of volunteer work plans for state parks participating in Community Partnership Month will be posted as soon as possible. Please check back for updates.
