Unique rustic shelters

Quartz Mountain Fire Lookout
For an adventurous and memorable vacation, spend the night in the fire lookout that sits atop the rocky summit in Mount Spokane State Park. Perched at an elevation of 5,129 feet, the lookout provides stunning views of the Spokane valley, the north Idaho panhandle and the Selkirk Mountains. The fire lookout sleeps four people.

Teepees
Fields Spring is home to the only two teepees at a Washington state park. With room to sleep eight, these teepees are a fun alternative to tent camping.

Platform Tents
These modern, white-canvas platform tents are situated in a maple forest near the Dosewallips River. This tent design was traditionally used by early loggers, miners and pioneers in the Hood Canal region. Each platform tent sleeps five people.
