Platform Tents and Teepees
Platform Tents
Each modern platform tent at Dosewallips State Park (in Brinnon) measures 14'x16' and comfortably
sleeps five people. Made of white canvas on wooden platforms, they are light inside, even on cloudy days.
Early loggers, miners and pioneers in the Hood Canal region traditionally used platform tents.
Each tent is outfitted with a bunk that sleeps three, a futon for two, lights, table and heater. Outside
is a deck, picnic table, fire grill and utility hookup, with bathrooms and showers nearby.
Capacity: Up to five people per tent.
Rental fee: $45 per night per tent.
Reservations: Reservations may be made year round by calling (888) CAMPOUT or (888) 226-7688.
Reservations may be made nine months in advance of the reserved date. The rental fee and a $7 non-refundable
reservation fee must be paid in full at the time a reservation is made. This holds the platform tent until 1 p.m.
on the day after the first reserved night.
Cancellations: Call (888) CAMPOUT or (888) 226-7688 as soon as possible.

restrooms and picnic shelter.
The teepees are available from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend each year.
Capacity: Up to six people per teepee.
Rental fee: $20 per night per teepee.
Reservations: Reservations may be made by calling the park at (509) 256-3332.
