The Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission is updating its Transition Plan to address barriers to accessibility for people with disabilities. The updated Transition Plan will help identify policy, program, and physical barriers to accessibility, and will develop barrier removal solutions to better allow people with disabilities to access the state park system’s natural, cultural, and recreational features.
State Parks is seeking public input on the draft Transition Plan below. Additional information and an opportunity to provide input will be available through a webinar on August 18, 2020, at 6:00 p.m. PDT. Please register in advance for the webinar at the following link: j.mp/33pBxMO
