National Safe Boating Week

National Safe Boating Week is coordinated each year by the National Safe Boating Council and its boating safety partners across the U.S. and Canada. During the campaign the Washington State Parks Boating Program steps up its emphasis on keeping safety front and center all season long.

The kick off before Memorial Day. This campaign reminds boaters to make responsible decisions a daily habit, such as always wearing a life jacket, never boating under the influence, carrying the right equipment, knowing navigational rules and more.
