Fort Flagler

Located on the tip of Marrowstone Island, Fort Flagler State Park rests on a high bluff overlooking Puget Sound, which offers breathtaking views of the Olympic and Cascade Mountains. Visitors can stroll through the park, discover the history of the fort, view deer, walk long stretches of beach covered with driftwood, or stop by the popular nearby city of Port Townsend.

Engineer’s House

The Engineer’s House is a quaint single-story home overlooking Marrowstone Point beach and Admiralty Inlet. Built in 1896, this cozy family-style home features two sleeping areas and totals 800 square feet. It has a comfortable kitchen with a small breakfast table, living room, a semi private bedroom with a queen bed, TV / DVD, a separate bedroom with bunk beds, and a large bathroom with a shower. Enjoy relaxing on the front porch with its spectacular water view and watch the ships pass in and out of Puget Sound.

Hospital Steward’s House

The charming, century-old historic Hospital Steward’s House overlooks the original grand parade ground at Fort Flagler. It features a spacious kitchen, pressed-tin ceilings, a hardwood floor that leads into a comfortable double-couch living room, and a separate dining room decorated with lace curtains and tablecloth. The upstairs includes pressed-tin ceilings, an antique claw-foot bathtub, and two bedrooms with one queen-size and two single beds. A private porch with Adirondack chairs offers a scenic view of a historic parade ground, Admiralty Inlet, and the Marrowstone Point Lighthouse on the northeast tip of the beach.

Non-Commissioned Officer’s Quarters - North & South

Overlooking Admiralty Inlet, the Non-Commissioned Officer’s (NCO) Quarters is a duplex. The lovely building was built above the shoreline in 1903 and still retains its old-time flavor. Each unit includes two bedrooms upstairs, a comfortable kitchen with modern appliances, a cozy living room with a TV/DVD, a claw-foot bathtub, and a private porch with adirondack chairs and a picnic table facing the water.

Waterway House

Set in a lovely location above Admiralty Inlet, Waterway House showcases a commanding view of the water from the living room. Built during World War II, this comfortable house has a bright and cheerful interior, and accommodates up to eight people. It has two bathrooms and four bedrooms with two queen-size and four single beds. A spacious open kitchen, dining area, and living room create a nice gathering place.

Make reservations online, call (888) 226-7688 or the Washington Telecommunications Relay Service at (800) 833-6388. Residences are reservable up to nine months in advance. A two-night minimum stay is required. A non-refundable reservation fee applies. If a reservation is changed or canceled, fees may change as well.

Note: The Engineer’s House, Hospital Steward’s, NCO Quarters North and South and Waterway House may be rented together. Museum and tours are available. Smoking and pets are not allowed in vacation houses.
