Enjoy a festival, join a fun run, tour an interpretive site, or just make your own celebration with a family picnic or camping trip. Choose from dozens of activities and events throughout the year. You can submit your state park event via email to get it placed on the calendar. The Discover Pass is required for vehicle access to Washington state parks and state-managed recreation lands. State Parks Discover Pass Free Day

Sunday, June 9, 2019

To celebrate Free Fishing Weekend, today is a State Parks "free day" when a Discover Pass is not required to visit a state park or lands managed by the Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife. Please note, free days apply only to day use (not overnight stays or rented facilities). A Discover Pass is still required to access lands managed by the Washington State Department of Natural Resources on this day.
