Enjoy a festival, join a fun run, tour an interpretive site, or just make your own celebration with a family picnic or camping trip. Choose from dozens of activities and events throughout the year. You can submit your state park event via email to get it placed on the calendar. The Discover Pass is required for vehicle access to Washington state parks and state-managed recreation lands. Iu Mien Festival

Come and join our first Washington Iu Mien Festival! The event promises to be an occasion of celebration, healing, and understanding as Miens bridge the gaps between generations and promote cultural pride in the community. Activities include games, prizes, food and gift vendors, live bands, cultural fashion show/auction, visual art displays, young musical and dance performers. Everyone is welcome!

On arrival at Saltwater State Park, if the parking lot is full, park staff will direct drivers to drop off passengers before proceeding to a leased parking lot nearby at Highline Community College (1.5 miles away from the park). Drivers should park at Highline Community College South Parking Lot. There will be signage to indicate the correct parking lot and the shuttle pick up and drop off locations. Shuttle Service will begin at 10am and continues until 6pm.
