OLYMPIA – Nov. 25, 2015 – The Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission will have a work planning meeting next week in Gold Bar.
The meeting will take place from noon to 5 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 2 and then again from 8 a.m. to noon, Thursday, Dec. 3 at Wallace Falls Lodge, 14424 Wallace Lake Road, Gold Bar. (Directions: https://goo.gl/maps/eVCFvQYPffw)
The Commission will not be taking formal action at this meeting. The meeting is open to the public; however, no public comment will be taken at this time. An agenda is available online at http://parks.state.wa.us/154/Commission-Meetings-Agendas.
The meeting will include a review of 2015, a discussion of the Commission’s 2016 calendar of meetings and site tours, an evaluation of the director’s 2015 performance agreement, a discussion of the director’s 2016 draft performance agreement, a discussion on proposed Commission officers and committee membership, and status reports of ongoing projects
The next official work session and regular commission meeting will be at Edmonds Community College on Jan. 27 and 28, 2016.
