OLYMPIA – Nov. 18, 2016– The Washington State Parks 2017 wall calendar is now available for purchase.

The 2017 State Parks calendar features brilliant color photos representing some of the park system’s premier and unique features. Many photographs capture spectacular park views, including:

  • An aerial view of Stewart Island Marine State Park in the San Juan Islands
  • A mesmerizing photo of  Rasar State Park
  • An inviting waterfall view at Olallie State Park
  • A  unique perspective of the mud flats at Bay View State Park
  • A beautiful photo of a historic building at Fort Columbia Historical State Park
  • A winter wonderland scene at Lime Kiln Point State Park

Photographs are by Vince Streano of Streano/Havens Photography, Megan Kennedy of Rogue Heart Media, Carolyn Schneider of Standing Stones Photography and Design as well as from several photographers who submitted photos to the Washington State Parks Foundation photo contest.

The calendar measures 13 inches by 9 inches when closed and opens to a vertical format measuring 13 inches by 18 inches. The calendar sells for $18.99 plus tax and is available for purchase online. To purchase, visit myprint.wa.gov  and enter “calendar” in the search area. A link to the calendar order also is available on the State Parks website at www.parks.state.wa.us/wallcalendar. Orders must be made by Dec. 16, for delivery by Christmas.

Calendars also may be purchased at Washington State Parks Headquarters, 1111 Israel Road S.W., Tumwater. For information, call (360) 902-8500.
