Family event is a fundraiser for the Riverside State Park Foundation
OLYMPIA – November 20, 2014 – The Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission and the Riverside State Park Foundation invite the public to celebrate winter early and the upcoming holiday season at the Winter Wonderland in Riverside State Park.
The event is scheduled for 6 to 8:30 p.m. Dec. 12-14 at the Bowl and Pitcher Area, 4427 N. Aubrey L White Parkway. (Directions: goo.gl/maps/fviyp)
This family-friendly event will get participants in the holiday spirit with a visit from Santa Claus, hay rides, a holiday stroll on the illuminated Swinging Bridge, festive lights in the campgrounds and shelter, campfires, and hot chocolate and cookies for sale.
The Winter Wonderland is a fundraiser for the Riverside State Park Foundation. Admission is $5; children age three and under get in free. No Discover Pass will be needed to attend this event. The Foundation is covering the cost.
