You can submit your state park event via email to get it placed on the calendar. The Discover Pass is required for vehicle access to Washington state parks and state-managed recreation lands.     There are now Nature Backpacks available for check-out at Bay View State Park! Each backpack includes educational materials and a set of kid-friendly tools to help young explorers learn about nature. Inside, you’ll find binoculars, observation tools, colored pencils, a field journal, books, activities and more.

    Visit us at the Bay View Registration Station to request a Nature Backpack. You can borrow a backpack for either 48 hours or one week.

    Designed similar to existing geocaching activities, Adventure Labs will guide you through the parks as you solve questions using physical features within the landscape.

    To begin an Adventure, download the official Geocaching Adventure Lab app for your iPhone or Android phone and create a free account.

    Celebrate Father's Day at the Cama Beach Cafe!

    They will be offering a special Father's Day brunch buffet from 10 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.

    Here are a few of the items that will be included on the brunch buffet: biscuits & gravy, herb roasted chicken, pulled pork sliders, fresh-baked scones, muffins, scrambled local pastured eggs, thick cut bacon, scalloped potatoes, brioche French toast, desserts & more!

Moran State Park

  1. Workshop – Knot tying

    June 19, 2022, 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM

    Back by theoretical popular demand, we’ll be hosting an informal knot tying program at Cascade Lake day use area. Our interpretive team will be available to teach visitors basic knots, camping knots, fun shoe knots, complicated but useful knots, and useless but cool knots! Supplies will be available at the workshop but feel free to bring your own rope or cord as well.
