You can submit your state park event via email to get it placed on the calendar. The Discover Pass is required for vehicle access to Washington state parks and state-managed recreation lands.     Looking for a fun, educational activity for the entire family?

    There are now Nature Backpacks available for check-out at Bay View State Park! Each backpack includes educational materials and a set of kid-friendly tools to help young explorers learn about nature. Inside, you’ll find binoculars, observation tools, colored pencils, a field journal, books, activities and more.

    Visit us at the Bay View Registration Station to request a Nature Backpack. You can borrow a backpack for either 48 hours or one week.

Both accomplished musicians, Miho Takekawa and Diego Coy discovered their sounds could be combined to make something new and unique.     Explorers, join us for another fun Junior Ranger program from 11-11:30 a.m. We'll practice being Early Explorers ourselves, and work on page 15 of the Junior Ranger booklet. Starting at 11:30 a.m., all are welcome to join interpretive rangers as we use our powers of observation and become park naturalists. Learn what it means to be a naturalist through activities and create your own nature journal to use for future adventures. Best for ages 7 and up.

    Join us at 10am in the South Park Amphitheater where the local Fire Department talks about fire safety and shows their gear and fire engines to the crowd. See how much gear they carry and why.
