You can submit your state park event via email to get it placed on the calendar. The Discover Pass is required for vehicle access to Washington state parks and state-managed recreation lands.     There are now Nature Backpacks available for check-out at Bay View State Park! Each backpack includes educational materials and a set of kid-friendly tools to help young explorers learn about nature. Inside, you’ll find binoculars, observation tools, colored pencils, a field journal, books, activities and more.

    Visit us at the Bay View Registration Station to request a Nature Backpack. You can borrow a backpack for either 48 hours or one week.

    Accessibility: This is an easy trail, however there are roots and rocks that make an uneven surface in some areas.

    Reminder: A Discover Pass is needed at this park.

    BEAR AWARENESS Reducing conflict between bears and humans. WDFW Bear Talk Lake Wenatchee State Park WEDNESDAY JUNE 14TH 5-6PM South Park Amphitheater Children are encouraged to attend! Presented in collaboration between Plain Valley Adventure Women, Lake Wenatchee State Park Rangers and Washington State Fish and Wildlife Karelian Bear Dog Program. This educational talk is directed toward the Plain, Lake Wenatchee, and White River communities. Greater knowledge and understanding about the wildlife we live together with can help reduce conflict and potentially save the lives of both humans and animals. A Discover Pass will be required for parking within the State Park. Discover Passes or daily permits can be purchased at the parking lot. Dress Appropriately for weather, bug spray is encouraged.
