You can submit your state park event via email to get it placed on the calendar. The Discover Pass is required for vehicle access to Washington state parks and state-managed recreation lands.     Looking for a fun, educational activity for the entire family?

    There are now Nature Backpacks available for check-out at Bay View State Park! Each backpack includes educational materials and a set of kid-friendly tools to help young explorers learn about nature. Inside, you’ll find binoculars, observation tools, colored pencils, a field journal, books, activities and more.

    Visit us at the Bay View Registration Station to request a Nature Backpack. You can borrow a backpack for either 48 hours or one week.

    Designed similar to existing geocaching activities, Adventure Labs will guide you through the parks as you solve questions using physical features within the landscape.

    This interactive hike will consist of multiple activities (including a blindfold activity) designed to teach nature awareness skills and deepen one’s connection to nature.

    • Ages: 8 years and older

    • Time: 1 ½ hours

    • Max group size: 15

    Accessibility: This is an easy trail, however there are roots and rocks that make an uneven surface in some areas.

    Reminder: A Discover Pass is needed at this park.
