Enjoy a festival, join a fun run, tour an interpretive site, or just make your own celebration with a family picnic or camping trip. Choose from dozens of activities and events throughout the year. You can submit your state park event via email to get it placed on the calendar. The Discover Pass is required for vehicle access to Washington state parks and state-managed recreation lands. Jefferson County is home to these beautiful, misunderstood and feared creatures. In 2020 a cougar showed up the Center Valley Animal Rescue. Join us to learn more about cougar behavior, what to avoid, what do to if you see one and how we call all help keep them and us safe. We’ll also have the pleasure of hearing Sara Penhallegon tell us about the visiting cougar.
