Surrounded by flowers and tall oak trees, the American Kitchen overlooks the magnificent Peace Arch that was built in the early 20th century on the United States/Canadian border. View includes Semiahmoo Bay, the San Juan Islands, Point Roberts and Vancouver Island.

Rates & fees

Sunday – Thursday $155 plus tax per day.  Friday – Saturday $303 plus tax per day.

All vehicles must display an annual or day Discover Pass.

You can reserve up to nine months in advance of your date.

Washington State Parks discount passes do not apply to day-use rentals.

Viewpoint

The American Kitchen features a triple sink, refrigerator and stove, A large gathering area with fireplace, indoor tables and chairs for approximately 100 people (no fee to use).  There is a limited supply of outdoor chairs and tables available to rent for an additional fee.

Outside is a large charcoal grill, picnic area with 30 picnic tables ADA accessible, swing set and 12 ft. by 20 ft. covered stage.

The American Kitchen can accommodate up to 100 guests and up to 400 with combined grounds rental.  Catering and firewood are not provided.

Activities must not damage park facilities or natural environment.  All decorations must be removed after event.  Items that may be hazardous to wildlife (water balloons, confetti, rice, sidewalk chalk, silly string etc.) are not allowed.

Reservation party is responsible for clean-up and on time departure. All furniture must be moved to original locations prior to departure.
